RoomMelody is the instrumental music project of Michael Fogelberg, released under Silvergate Music. The idea is simple: melodic music for the room you are in. Each album is built around one small ensemble and one mood, from warm soul lounge to soft evening jazz, so the music can sit in the background of a dinner or a conversation while still having melodies worth listening to.
The first album, The Comfortable Hour, is twelve instrumental pieces about places where you happily stay a little longer: Rhodes, clean electric guitar, round electric bass and gentle acoustic drums. A second album, The Quiet Half, moves into softer evening jazz with grand piano, nylon-string guitar, upright bass and brushes. More rooms will follow.
RoomMelody music is fully instrumental. There is no singer and there are no lyrics, so no lyrics exist for any RoomMelody track.
